Amethyst Designs began its life in true Molly Malone style, selling Celtic jewelry from a cart on the streets of Dublin. In the early eighties we introduced affordable Celtic silver jewelry to retailers providing them with quality silver at great prices.
Our first collection comprised of 21 rings, 12 pairs of earrings, 1 brooch and 9 pendants - how things have changed. We have gone from strength to strength benefiting from a timely revival in all things Irish and indeed Celtic.
Still based in the heart of Dublin we now boast a wide selection of Silver jewelry, both traditional and contemporary. We offer many different products of Celtic silver from traditional Irish silver to hairslides and leather wristbands. Inspired by symbols such as the Claddagh, the Trinity Knot and Celtic Spirals our jewelry is firmly based in the Irish tradition. Such symbols are steeped in history and mythology and can evoke a powerful sense of past and present. We also draw from stories such as the Children of Lir and the Salmon of Knowledge- all of these can be seen vividly in our legends range.
